What ?
AFMPs assess physical, mental, emotional, nutritional, genetic, and environmental factors that contribute to health conditions. They emphasize: Nutrition: Identifying deficiencies, food sensitivities, and dietary patterns. Mental and Emotional Health: Addressing stress, anxiety, and trauma using mindfulness, meditation, and other therapies. Body System Imbalances: Detecting gut issues, immune dysfunction, toxin exposure, and more through detailed histories and assessments.
Functional medicine is effective for chronic or complex conditions such as autoimmune disorders, metabolic syndromes, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and mental health challenges. AFMPs integrate conventional and alternative therapies to restore balance, reduce symptoms, and slow or reverse disease progression naturally.

- I will help understand the foundations of meal planning so that it gives you the flexibility and independence of making your own meal plans.
- Giving a meal plan can be quite restrictive and unsustainable.
- This is a very personal decision for a client, in my opinion three months is a good timeline to start with.
- However, in some cases this timeline may not be sufficient. The plans I offer will give you the flexibility to decide upon the duration of the plan.
- As a health professional, it is of utmost importance that I keep your information confidential.
